RECOACTIV® Recovery Renal is a tasty, high-calorie food for poorly eating and weakened cats with impaired kidney function or chronic kidney failure.

Thanks to the high-calorie recipe, the product counteracts underweight and poor general health, which are usually the result of insufficient food intake and altered metabolism.

Cats suffering from CKD suffer from severely altered sense of taste (urine taste/uremia), which is why an appetite-stimulating food is of great importance. The intense taste/smell of RECOACTIV® Recovery Renal stimulates the cat to eat. Due to the high level of acceptance, combined with high energy density and simultaneously reduced phosphate levels, RECOACTIV® Recovery Renal with its liquid, very tasty texture significantly supports the weight gain of malnourished cats.

RECOACTIV® Recovery Renal can be administered as a complete feed and completely cover the animal's energy and nutrient needs in acute phases. It is also suitable as tube feeding.

RECOACTIV® products contain important vitamins and trace elements and consist of natural, food-grade ingredients. They are free of grains, sugar, colors and preservatives.

¹In collaboration with the Institute for Animal Nutrition at the Free University of Berlin, Department of Veterinary Medicine, a scientific study has proven that RECOACTIV® both promotes the absorption of water and significantly stimulates the appetite of cats and causes increased food intake.

RECOACTIV® Recovery Renal can be given purely as a complete feed or as a supplement to the feed, depending on the intended use, see table. Shake the bottle vigorously before use. Dosage see table in ml depending on use, amount per day and body weight:
